Barrac has been active in the thermoplastic materials moulding nationwide for more than twenty years. The most outstanding production is the rear-view mirrors moulding for motorcycle industry, tractors, earth-moving machinery and industrial vehicles.
Initially, Barrac, at that time a supplier of components and parts for the biomedical industry, purchased the well known historical Vitaloni trademark and was able to start a profitable partnership with Magneti Marelli in order to produce rear-view mirrors. The success came with prestigious customers like Piaggio, Gilera, Aprilia, Ducati, Mv Agusta, Malaguti and BMW, who stimulated Barrac’s continuous growth through technological advanced solutions.
Thank to its highly qualified personnel, Barrac can perform each step of production autonomously: feasibility studies, product engineering, cost analysis, moulding and, eventually, quality certification.
In 1995 Barrac achieves the ISO 9002 certification and is then able to enter into a very demanding and competitive market through its innovative design studies. Based on these studies, they could realize revolutionary rear-view mirrors, allowing the integration of direction indicators into them.
Barrac has attended the most important sector exhibitions and fairs. Eventually, they were able to present F4, a model that was considered an art object, worth to be shown in the Guggenheim Museum in New York City.
These achievements demonstrate Barrac’s ability to match valuable design, very high quality products (all ECE and CEE certified), innovative solutions and a customer centric approach.
